هم مرکز متحد المرکز

هم مرکز بودن اشیا و اجسام به حالتی اطلاق می شود که دارای یک مرکز، محور و یا یک مبدا باشند. دایره، کره، استوانه، حلقه و یا دیسک ها می توانند با یک دیگر هم مرکز باشند به طوری که دارای یک مرکز مشترک و شعاع های متفاوت هستند. از نمونه های دایره های هم مرکز، می توان به سیبل مسابقه ی دارت و یا تیراندازی با کمان نام برد. حلقه های معلق کاردان از دیگر نمونه های حلقه های هم مرکز می باشد.

الاتحاد المرکزی (بالإنکلیزیة: Concentricity) یقصد به اشتراک شکلین أو جسمین فی المرکز أو نقطة الأصل بحیث یتناظران فی الشکل الهندسی حول هذا المشترک.مثل إطار السیارة والقلس المحوری وحتى القبة السماویة تعد من الأمثلة فی الاتحاد المرکزی.یمکن للدوائر أوالمربعات أوالمکعبات أوالکور أن تکون متحدة فی المرکز.ومن أمثلة الاتحاد المرکزی المجموعة الشمسیة،حیث تشترک کافة الکواکب السیارة فی الدوران حول نقطة واحدة مشترکة بینهم وهی الشمس.فتکون الشمس بالنسبة لهم هی نقطة الأصل.

أهم تصبیقات اتحاد المرکز هی فی الکابلات المحوریة.حیث یحشر موصل أو أکثر (کما فی المزدوج المحوری) فی نفس الکابل لتوفیر المواد وزیادة الکفاءة.

Notice that two objects can have equal radii and be concentric and different. For example, two different meridians of a terrestrial globe are concentric and congruent, their common center is a point that represents the earth center.

Concentric cable is a cable type used in TN-C-S earthing systems where the combined neutral and earth core completely surrounds the live core(s). This minimizes the risk of completely cutting through the combined neutral and earth without first completely cutting through the live cores.
Concentric muscles contractions are those in which the muscle shortens.
